Gent Jazz secures audience favourite Ludovico Einaudi for 14 July
Gent Jazz has landed an undisputed crowd favourite for its 25th summer edition. On 14 July, Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi will take to the stage with his full ensemble.

The classically trained Einaudi rose to worldwide fame with his film scores — including the soundtrack for ‘Intouchables’ — and firmly established his mastery with the albums ‘Una Mattina’ and ‘Divenire’. Critics praise his layered soundscapes, often placing him in the same league as composers such as Chopin, Satie, Glass and Reich. Fans who have seen this global star perform live, already know how his much-loved compositions blossom into a sumptuous, cinematic experience.

Together with his son Leo Einaudi and a group of exceptional musicians, he will curate an evening of intensity, stillness and pure beauty at Gent Jazz this summer. Anyone who missed out on tickets for his 'Solo Piano' shows at Antwerp's Queen Elisabeth Hall, or Forest National in Brussels, now has another opportunity.
Tickets for the newly announced festival day on 14 July will be available from Tuesday 24 March at 10:00 via www.gentjazz.com
